Box office share of Russian films first time exceeded 50% of total

The total box office share of Russian films for the first time exceeded half of the box office of all films presented in cinemas, reaching 52.1%. This is regarding the report of the Cinema Fund for 2022, RBC reports.

It is noted that this indicator has been overcome since at least 2015. In monetary terms, the fees increased by a little less than 2 billion rubles (18.5%), the publication added.

As Bashinform News Agency wrote earlier, Moscow will host a pre-premiere screening of the cartoon "Northern Cupids" on January 29, created by the Ufa studio "Mukha" together with the film studio "Bashkortostan" with the support of the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov.

The date of the all-Russian premiere of the animated film, dedicated to the participation of soldiers from Bashkiria in the Russian-Swedish war of 1788 and the Patriotic war of 1812, will soon become known.
