The first lecture of the "Painting in the Musical Theater" cycle took place in the Greek Hall of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater. The project is implemented with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. The author of the idea is Natalya Abdrazakova.
The first meeting gathered about 100 people in the theater. Among the audience were both regular spectators of Bashkir Opera, who were interested in the backstage of the theater, and novice theatergoers. The chief designer of the theater Ivan Skladchikov spoke about the scenography in the opera Attila, the stages of creating scenery, and their harmonious combination with costumes and lighting.
The next lectures will be devoted to male and female costumes in the production, they will take place on November 24 and 28. Admission is free, registration is required via the link.
