Askar Abdrazakov Vocal Art Academy starts accepting applications for training

The acceptance of applications for training at the Askar Abdrazakov Vocal Art Academy starts on October 17. The project is being implemented at the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, said Elena Nikulskaya, press secretary of the theater.

Students of the third and fourth courses, as well as graduates of previous years of professional educational institutions in the main areas of vocal art, can become students of the academy. Their mentors will be the art director of the Bashkir Opera Askar Abdrazakov, soloists of the opera troupe of the theater Larisa Akhmetova and Elvira Fatykhova, teacher of the department of the vocal art and the department of pop jazz performance and sound engineering of the Ufa State Institute of Arts Idris Gaziev.

For several months, mentors in online and offline formats will conduct classes in vocal skills and stage movement, and share their skills in working with an accompanist and a symphony orchestra.

The finale of the project will be a reporting concert on the Bashkir Opera stage, where students of the academy will perform together with leading masters of opera art. A series of traveling concerts in the cities and regions of the republic is also expected.
