Republican literary competition has started in Bashkiria

Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the A.Z. Validi National Library announced the start of the republican literary competition of novice poets and writers "Proba Pera" (literary debut).  This year's project, which has already become traditional, is dedicated to the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.

All interested residents of the Republic of Bashkortostan who were invited to participate in the competition are authors who compose poems or prose works in the state languages ​​of the Republic of Bashkortostan: Russian and Bashkir.

The competition is held with the aim of identifying new talented writers and revealing their creative potential, popularizing the cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia. Applications for participation and works of contestants are accepted from September 19 to October 14, 2022, to the email address: [email protected] or in writing to the postal address: 450077, Ufa, Lenin Street, 4 (department of the reading room).

The works of young writers are evaluated by an expert commission, which includes well-known poets and writers of the republic, public figures, and chief editors of regional literary magazines and newspapers.
