A drawing by 10-year-old Adelina Musina will become a collectible postcard. A young artist from Bashkiria won the international competition "Portrait of a Frontline Dog". Her work took third place in the 9-11 years old nomination, the press service of the Victory Museum reports. The drawings of the finalists will form the basis of a limited series of postcards.
In total, more than 2.5 thousand works about front-line dogs were submitted to the competition. Through their drawings, children told the stories of four-legged orderlies, demolition workers, and signalmen.
“Among the artists, there are both very young, novice painters, and professional masters. Artists from 79 regions of Russia sent their works. Drawings were received from Japan, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, Moldova, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyz Republic and other countries” the organizers of the competition said.
