In the "Ural" folk art gallery there is an exhibition of art crafts "Craftsmen of Dagestan. Gifts of the Ancestors” dedicated to the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia. This was reported by the press service of the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Bashkiria.
The exposition presents traditional costumes, samples of artistic crafts of Dagestan craftsmen made of metal and wood, ceramics, carpets, and works of modern art.
The exhibition also presents antique items made in the 15th-18th centuries. The exposition includes works of Kubachi, Balkhara, Tabasaran, Untsukul, Gotsatli, and Andi masters.
Until August 29, everyone will be able to see more than 100 exhibits, including brilliant examples of art crafts, handicrafts, and the author's art of Dagestan masters.
The exhibits were provided from the personal collection of Magomedkhabib Sultanmagomedov, Chairman of the Bashkir Republican Public Organization of Dagestan National Culture.
“This exhibition is important because it represents the spiritual wealth of the Dagestan people, their traditional values, and achievements. This is a historical and cultural heritage, which is an integral part of the multinational Russian culture,” Fluza Gaysina, Acting Director of the House of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan said.
