Askar Abdrazakov will take part in memorial concert dedicated to Muslim Magomaev's 80th anniversary

Honored Artist of Russia, National artist of Bashkortostan Askar Abdrazakov will take part in a concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of the National artist of the USSR and Azerbaijan Muslim Magomayev.

The jubilee event will take place on the birthday of the legendary singer, on August 17, at the Green Theater Baku Concert Complex. The organizer of the anniversary event is the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

“National artists Azer Zeynalov, Dinara Aliyeva, Elchin Azizov, Emin Agalarov, Samir Jafarov, and honored artist Azer Rza will take part in the event. Foreign stars Askar Abdrazakov, Nani Bregvadze, Vakhtang Kikabidze, Alessandro Safina, and Yana Melikaeva will also perform on the stage of the Green Theater. They will sing hits by Muslim Magomayev”, Sputnik Azerbaijan reports.

The repertoire of Muslim Magomayev (1942 - 2008) included about 600 songs. He is buried in the Alley of Honor in Baku.
