Bashkortostan products were shown at "Lifestyle - Cultural Code" Festival in Kazan

Kazan hosts the II Ethno-Fashion Festival "Lifestyle - Cultural Code" from August 2 to August 14. The Bashkiria art crafts "Agidel" enterprise has been participating in the project for the second year in a row. Guzel Karimova, General Director of the enterprise, shared her experience with the project participants.

On August 2, the National Art Gallery "Khazine" opened an exhibition of fine and decorative arts "Heritage and Traditions", which presents the works of leading artists from Ufa. It will last until August 14.

Here, visitors can see more than 400 exhibits in 15 areas of decorative and applied art: lacquer miniature, ceramics and porcelain, stone-cutting art, enamel art, art processing of metal, glass, art carving on bone, and wood - and much more. These are the works of masters from Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Moscow and St. Petersburg, Dagestan, Altai, and other regions of Russia. "Agidel" presented art panels, paintings, painted matryoshka dolls, and handmade dishes at the exhibition.

“As part of the festival, Agidel collections of clothes and accessories were shown. One of the shows was the premiere: the audience saw a new collection of men's clothing, Yayge Yalanda (On the Summer Field), Guzel Karimova told Bashinform News Agency. “Other collections are already known to those who follow our new products: this is the collection of women's clothing "Eshlekle ҡatyn-ҡyҙ" ("Business Woman") and the collection of women's silk scarves "Bashkortostan Mirasy" ("Treasure of Bashkortostan"). The women's collection was added to the show in Kazan.

This year, the project started with an ethnic market on Lake Kaban. The tent of the "Agidel" enterprise presented the rich Bashkir culture in all its glory, attracting the attention of the Kazan inhabitants. These are authentic Bashkir souvenirs, home decor, dishes, and handmade textiles.
