Soloist of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre, People's Artist of Bashkortostan Alfiya Karimova has returned from tour performances in Central Asia. First, the singer took part in the International Festival of Opera and Ballet Art "Toshkent Bahori" ("Tashkent Spring"), where world opera stars from South Korea, Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan showed their skills on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater named after Alisher Navoi.
Alfiya Karimova sang the part of Martha in Rimsky-Korsakov's The Tsar's Bride. Conducted by Denis Vlasenko, Gryaznoy - Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Ruslan Gafarov, Lykov - People's Artist of Uzbekistan Samandar Alimov, Lyubasha - Yanika Bagryanskaya.
After the festival in Tashkent, the singer received an offer from the directorate of the Maldybaev Opera and Ballet Theatre in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) to perform in the title role in the opera La Traviata by G. Verdi. This role is one of the most beloved in the singer's repertoire, she performed it on the stages of various theaters around the world.
“I was in Bishkek for the first time. The performance, with the participation of guest conductor Mikhail Kirchhoff, was held with great enthusiasm. The main Kyrgyz theater has great potential, the hall has excellent acoustics, allowing you to sing in various gradations of dynamics,” Alfiya Karimova said.
