"Museum Night -2022" will be held in Bashkortostan

On May 21 at 18.00, one of the largest cultural events of this year, Museum Night 2022, will take place. Museums of the Republic of Bashkortostan participate in the All-Russian campaign for 12 years in a row. This year, exhibitions and events will focus on three main themes:

1) “The Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia”: ethnographic exhibitions, including expositions of arts and crafts, of the peoples of Bashkortostan, excursions and events dedicated to the spiritual and material culture of the peoples of our republic;

2) "Memory of Generations": exhibitions and events dedicated to family archives and the memory of front-line soldiers, home front workers and children of the Great Patriotic War. Family archives of residents of cities and villages of Bashkortostan may be involved to create museum exhibitions;

3) "Search for the past - the discovery of oneself": events dedicated to the search movement, which is aimed at conducting research work and preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War.

Traditionally, new interesting expositions will open on the Museum Night, entertaining quests, game programs for children, sightseeing, thematic, curatorial excursions, exhibitions-fairs and master classes of folk craftsmen, and concert programs will take place. “Cultural streaming” will also be organized – live broadcasts on the all-Russian portal “Culture.RF” and on social media.

More than 100 museums and other cultural institutions will participate in the campaign: state and municipal museums, museums at cultural and leisure institutions, private and corporate museums, including the Postal Museum, the House of Entertaining Sciences "Intellectus", the Historical Park "Russia - My History", Clouds Center for Contemporary Art, Ufa Art Gallery, Miras Gallery and X-MAX Gallery.

In Bashkortostan, the Museum Night 2022 event will be held at more than 90 venues, where more than 500 new exhibitions and entertaining events will be presented.
