Two Bashkir theaters are preparing joint project on Sergey Yesenin works

On May 3, the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater will host a musical and poetic night "Your acquaintance Sergey Yesenin", dedicated to the creativity of the Silver Age poet.

The concert will be a joint project of Bashkir Opera and Bashkir Drama Theater. The basis of the program will be the works of Sergey Yesenin performed by the Honored Artist of Russia, People's Artist of Bashkortostan, holder of the orders of Salavat Yulaev, and Friendship of Peoples Oleg Khanov. The artist of the Bashkir Drama Theater will perform the poems of the Russian poet, as well as his poem "Anna Snegina".

The night will feature the orchestra of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater, the choir, and soloists of the opera troupe, who will perform compositions by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Georgy Sviridov, Roman Ledenev, Evgeny Popov, Vasily Lipatov, Grigory Ponomarenko, Salavat Nizametdinov, and Ural Idelbaev.

Conductor - Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Bashkortostan Marat Akhmet-Zaripov. Choirmaster - Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alexander Alekseev. The director is the Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Bashkortostan Almira Safargulova.
