Ufa artists donated over 120 paintings to orphanages

Artists of the Elena Lyubimenko Art Class from Ufa donated over 120 paintings to the “Semya” and “Vmeste” children's shelters to decorate the walls. They thought that in this way the shelter rooms would become cozier, and there would be more positive emotions in the lives of children who found themselves in difficult situations.

Previously, 16 professional and emerging artists turned dull corridors into a fairytale forest in Orphanage No. 9, the lounge room was filled with stars, and the dining room was filled with charming bunnies. Six artists "grown" a real forest on one of the walls in the "Vmeste" center.

Volunteers of the "Happy Ufa" movement supported the artists, providing paints and everything necessary.

 As a result, a large collection of paintings of landscapes, still lifes, images of animals and people appeared. All paintings are very colorful, made with oil painting, watercolor, and pastel crayons. Almost all works are framed in baguettes under glass.

Elena Polyakova delivered 50 paintings to the “Semya” shelter. 72 paintings were donated to the “Vmeste” shelter. Happy Ufa volunteer Pavel helped hang some pictures in this shelter. He said that the teachers took part in the selection of paintings and their placement in the rooms. According to them, it turned out great.
