Cellist Rustem Khamidullin will perform solo with National Symphony Orchestra in Ufa

On the eve of International Women's Day, the National Symphony Orchestra RB will present a concert of symphonic music consisting of genuine masterpieces. On March 6, the fifth symphony of P.I. Tchaikovsky and Concerto for Cello and Orchestra by A. Dvořák.

Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, cellist Rustem Khamidullin will perform solo. Rustem studied at the Academy of Music in Stuttgart (Germany). His perfect mastery of the instrument, emotionality, and artistry allowed the musician to be a scholarship holder of the New Names charity program and the Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Foundation. The musician is the winner of many awards. Among them are the II prize at the International Beethoven Competition (Czech Republic, 2014) and the II prize at the Julio Cardona International Competition (Portugal, 2015), the prize of the III Knushevitsky International Cello Competition (Saratov, 2016), III prize of the Aram Khachaturian International Competition (Armenia, 2018) and others.

Symphony No. 5 P.I. Tchaikovsky is one of the most popular works by the famous Russian composer, in which he again refers to the theme of "man and his destiny".

Concerto for Cello and Orchestra by A. Dvořák was created by the Czech classic away from his homeland, in the USA. This composition immediately became one of the greatest works ever composed for the cello.

Behind the conductor's stand is the chief conductor of the orchestra, Honored Artist RB Dmitry Kryukov.
