Historical stage of Bolshoi Theater will feature another performance by Bashkir Opera

Negotiations were held between the Minister of Culture of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova and the General Director of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater Ilmar Almukhametov with the General Director of the Bolshoi Theater Vladimir Urin on showing the opera Sadko on the historical stage.

The Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater performances on the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia are becoming a tradition. Moscow audiences have already highly appreciated our performances of Verdi's Attila, staged by Ildar Abdrazakov and Don Quixote by J. Massenet, directed by Askar Abdrazakov.

Now the troupe of the Bashkir Theater is actively working on a new production of the "Sadko" opera by N. Rimsky-Korsakov. Recall that the opera is staged by the art director of the Bashkir Opera, Askar Abdrazakov, production designer Ivan Skladchikov.

The Bolshoi Theater of Russia will give Ufa residents and guests of the capital their performances on the eve of the 450th anniversary of Ufa. The team of the major theater in the country will present two shows in Ufa in 2024 - the Opera Gala and the Ballet Gala. The theater tour will take place as part of the Big Tours federal program.
