Ufa ensemble "Miras" performed in Royal Opera of Oman Sultanate

From February 6 to February 12, 2022, the Miras Song and Dance Ensemble took part in the International Music Festival, which the Royal Opera held in Muscat. The event was attended by musical and dance groups from different countries: Costa Rica, Poland, Bashkortostan, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.

The Muscat Royal Opera House is the cultural center of Oman. The festival was held on the territory of this theater, which is one of the wonders of the East. It is a symbol of the Renaissance of the reign of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, which was created for the cultural enrichment of the country. It should be noted that world stars of opera art are invited here.

As part of the festival performances, Miras presented the traditional culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan to the public with the best choreographic and musical compositions from the ensemble's repertoire.

Kurai melodies sounded on the foreign stage thanks to Yulai Kasimov. He admits that it is a great honor for him to be the first representative of the Bashkir people who introduced the whole country to traditional melodies and songs.

In addition to performances as part of the cultural program organized by the Royal Opera House, the artists visited the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, the Sultan's Palace in Old Muscat, the National Museum of Oman, Al Jalali Fort, and other attractions of the city.

At the end of the festival, the organizers and artists of the Miras Song and Dance Ensemble exchanged gifts and expressed their hope for new meetings and further cooperation.
