

In Bashkortostan, the index of industrial production at the end of 2021 reached 107.5%. Out of 29 industrial economic activities, 21 contributed to the growth in production volumes. Over the past ten years, the index of industrial production has never reached such high growth. This certainly proves the fruitful work of our republic in this direction.
"According to the results of the year, it is worth noting the positive trend of all four sectors of industrial production: mining - 100.5%, manufacturing - 108.3%, energy - 106.7%, water supply, sanitation, collection and disposal of waste, elimination of pollution - 122.3%," the Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation RB Alexander Sheldyaev said.
These industries showed the highest growth rates: production of medicines and materials used for medical purposes - increased by 2.4 times; production of paper and paper products - by 2.3 times; furniture production - increased by 1.7 times.
A positive trend is also observed in the production of finished metal products, except for machinery and equipment 147.8% , electrical equipment 139.8%, leather, and leather products 129.3%, motor vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers 117.6%.
PJSOC Bashneft is recovering after the restrictions adopted as part of the OPEC+ agreement and a reduction in demand for refined products caused by the impact of the coronavirus infection on the economy. According to the year's results, the crude oil production volume in the republic amounted to 107.7% compared to the previous year's level. Oil refining also fully recovered in 2021.
At the engineering giant UEC-UMPO, a personnel center was built from scratch and opened to train working specialties for the aviation engineering industry.
In December, a modern automated Arkada garment factory to produce work clothes was launched at the Alga Special Economic Zone.
Also, large investment projects were implemented by the Research and Production Enterprise BURINTEKH, Modern Bitumen Materials LLC, NPF Ressora, Sterex Pak LLC, Salavat Catalyst Plant LLC, JSC Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant, ZUR LLC.
The opening of the Cemix dry building mix plant in the Abzelilovsky district of Bashkiria with the participation of President Vladimir Putin deserves special attention.
Direct interaction with enterprises has been built in Bashkortostan. The practice of holding working meetings in the "Industrial Hour" format on an ongoing basis at enterprises has been introduced. Specialized interdepartmental commissions have been created with key corporations with Rostec State Corporation, UMMC OJSC, PJSC Gazprom, PJSOC Bashneft.
"As a result, for example, together with the Rostec State Corporation and PJSC Gazprom, we managed to organize the introduction of new gas compressor units based on the AL-41ST gas turbine engine at the facilities of the gas transmission system. At the Neftekamsk Automobile Plant, orders for buses and electric buses have multiplied, and the enterprise is loaded until 2025. We have restored the production of trolleybuses in the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan. We managed to solve the issue of KumAPP capacity utilization, revive the production of the Ka32A11M helicopter and launch the production of uncrewed aerial vehicles of the BAS-200 helicopter type. Active work is being carried out with the Industrial Development Fund. We helped 27 enterprises receive assistance for a total amount of about 9.5 billion rubles," Alexander Sheldyaev said.
According to the minister, of course, one of the main events of 2021 for the republic was the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin to transfer a controlling stake in the Bashkir Soda Company.
