

The festival is planned to be held online. In case of a favorable epidemiological situation, the organizing committee reserves the right to hold a concert in Ufa in an offline format.
Being an outstanding Slavist (and especially Polonist and Bulgarian), Leonid Vasiliev stood at the origins of the Center for Polish Culture and Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the A. Penkevich Polish Sunday School in Ufa. L. M. Vasiliev contributed to the Regional Public Organization "Friendship of the Peoples of Bashkortostan - Bulgaria".
In 2021, the I International Festival of Slavic Folk Song "Unity", dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of L. M. Vasiliev, was successfully held online. In the same year, a memorial plaque was opened in Ufa on the scientist's house.
The organizers of the festival are the Center for Polish Culture and Education RB and the Polish Sunday School in Ufa, together with the Honorary Consulate of Bulgaria in Bashkortostan and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute (Moscow) with the support of the Assembly of Peoples RB and the House of Friendship of Peoples RB.
