Bashkir Opera performance VITA NUOVA will be shown in Bolshoi Theater in Moscow

Vladimir Martynov's opera VITA NUOVA ("New Life"), staged by the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater, will be shown on March 10. The upcoming event is reported on the Russian National Theater Award "Golden Mask" website.

Recall that the premiere of the play VITA NUOVA took place exactly a year ago. The opera's libretto was written by Vladimir Martynov and Eduard Boyakov based on the collection of works by Dante Alighieri of the same name.

The Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater production was nominated for the Golden Mask Award. The performance was included in the list of nominees for the 2020-2021 season in six categories, including opera performances. The main conductor of the Bashkir Opera, Artem Makarov, will be nominated for the conductor's work. Elizaveta Korneeva - for the director's work. The author Vladimir Martynov was nominated in the "Composer's Work in Musical Theatre" category. Ekaterina Ageniy and Liana Makaryan were selected for the artist's work in the musical theater. Irina Vtornikova was nominated in the lighting designer category.
