National Symphony Orchestra invites to "Great Symphonies" concert

The National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan invites visitors to the first concert of the "Great Symphonies" subscription in 2022. This event will take place in the Concert Hall of the Ufa College of Arts on January 13, on the eve of the "old" New Year.

The program will feature music by Mozart (Concerto for bassoon and orchestra) and Schubert (Symphonies No. 8 and No. 9). Honored Artist of Russia, Moscow bassoonist Stanislav Katenin will perform as a soloist. The chief conductor of the orchestra, Honored Artist of Bashkortostan Dmitry Kryukov, will conduct and comment.

Stanislav Katenin (bassoon / Moscow) - Honored Artist of Russia. The Gnesins Russian Academy of Music graduate worked in the Bolshoi Theater Orchestra. Since 2007 he has been a soloist of the orchestra, concertmaster of the bassoon group of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia directed by Maestro Vladimir Spivakov. Since 2012 - art director of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia soloists ensemble. He has recorded several solo CDs, including two solo albums as an endorser for the German company Bernd Moosmann and a collection of pieces by Russian composers arranged for bassoon by the Sovremennaya Muzyka publishing house.
