Gaskarov Ensemble will continue touring as part of Rosconcert project "We are Russia"

The Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova met with representatives of national groups and employees of Rosconcert, headed by General Director Andrey Malyshev. The meeting was attended by the Faizi Gaskarov State Folk Dance Ensemble director, Almaz Saetov.

"We are again participating in the "We are Russia" application campaign. Next year we plan to visit the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, give more concerts in Crimea, go to Kaliningrad; we haven't been there since 2014," Almaz Saetov told Bashinform News Agency.

The event summed up the results of the implementation of the program "We are Russia" of the All-Russian tour and concert plan, discussed new creative projects and the development of folk art throughout the country. The Russian Culture Minister thanked the meeting participants for their work in such a challenging situation.

In 2021, 32 national groups became participants in the program, and the number of concerts has increased many times - up to 268. Within the program's framework, a tour of folk groups "We are Russia" F. Gaskarov Ensemble organized a tour of the regions of Russia with a concert program "Dances of the peoples of the world." The team began its tour in the spring with a concert in their native Ufa and delighted spectators from Siberia, the Southern Urals, the Lower Volga region to the Caucasus and Crimea with their shows. In the autumn, the tour continued in the Central Federal District. In just a year, the Gaskarov Ensemble dancers performed in 50 cities across the country. As a result, the creative team was awarded several certificates of honor and gratitude from Russian departments and organizations.
