Head of Bashkiria met with film director Timur Bekmambetov

The filmmaker said that the film "Yolki 8" pre-premiere screening is taking place in Ufa. One of the episodes of the movie saga was filmed in Ufa.

At a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister Azat Badranov, Minister of Culture of the Republic Amina Shafikova, director of the Ufa animation studio "Mukha" Artur Abdrakhmanov and artist Kamil Buzykaev, they discussed the prospects for cooperation in new creative projects.

Radiy Khabirov noted that it is not the first time Ufa participated in Timur Bekmambetov's projects. The republic is always happy to welcome the director and producer of this level.

Timur Bekmambetov said that before the meeting, he had visited the Ufa studio "Mukha" and got acquainted with its specialists and the team's best practices.

"There are two parts to making animated films. The first is the world - backgrounds, and textures with which Artur Abdrakhmanov and the staff of the Mukha studio successfully work. Second - the characters, their life on the screen," Timur Bekmambetov said. "We have several ideas for training specialists in the field of animation. Moreover, we are discussing joint work with the Mukha studio in the framework of new projects."
