Zainetdinov family represents Bashkortostan at International Festival in Kazakhstan
On December 14-15, in the city of Kostanay of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the International Festival of Ensembles and Orchestras of Folk Instruments "Tүrki Alemi" is held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event is held to strengthen the friendship of peoples, development, and mutual enrichment of cultures between the Turkic-speaking peoples. Leading creative groups and performers from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia participated.
Bashkortostan is represented by the ensemble "Republic" of the Zainetdinov family. The head of the family is People's Artist of Bashkortostan, virtuoso-kubyz player of the world Mindigafur Zainetdinov. Together with his wife Gulgina, they raised three children - Leysan, Azamat, and Ilyuza. They all sing, dance, play musical instruments, are laureates of festivals and competitions.
