Faizi Gaskarov Folk Dance Ensemble performed in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On November 22, the Sarajevo National Theater hosted the grand opening of the Days of Russian Spiritual Culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The program of events included the opening of the exhibition of the Russian Geographical Society "The Most Beautiful Country", a round table on the topic "Preservation of spiritual values as the basis of intercultural dialogue", master classes for students of music academies, as well as a concert and master classes of professional folk groups.

The Faizi Gaskarov State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble took part in the event.

The concert program was based on the performances of the best Russian folklore groups: the Faizi Gaskarov State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble (Republic of Bashkortostan), the People's Ensemble of Adygeyan Musical Instruments "Udzh" (Republic of Adygea), and the Ensemble of Russian and Balkan Folk Music "Dobranoch" (St. Petersburg). A special selection of creative compositions showed the audience the versatility of the cultural traditions of the peoples of Russia and the interest of Russian performers in the Balkan musical heritage.
