Yesterday, the 1st round of the III International Vladimir Spivakov Violin Competition was held in the Small Hall of the "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall.
8 out of 10 participants hit the II round of the competition: Jevon Wee (South Korea, Seoul); Chisa Kitagawa (Japan, Tokyo); Arseniya Sibileva (Russia, Moscow); Grigory Miroshnik (Russia, Moscow); Julia Smirnova (Russia, Moscow); Elias David Moncado (Germany, Munich); Alexandra Weissbekker (Russia, Kazan); Marie Helling (Germany, Stuttgart).
Two participants who did not qualify for the second round - Maria Lundina (Russia, Moscow) and Ivan Naborshchikov (Russia, Moscow) - will be able to receive feedback from the jury on their performances. Competitors who did not qualify for the third round would have the same opportunity.
The II round of the violin competition will take place in the Small Hall of the "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall on November 24, at 12 pm.
The Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition in Ufa is held for the third time by the Ministry of Culture of Bashkortostan with the support of the Head of the Republic.
