Folk motives on refrigerator: Ufa master creates unique magnets
Renat Yunusov creates unique souvenirs. The craftsman depicts the sights of Ufa and the republic on his magnets. Folk motives, as well as plots of Bashkir traditions and legends, are the source of inspiration for the artist.
Renat began to be actively engaged in the manufacture of souvenirs more than ten years ago. The craftsman studied in Moscow as a shoe designer. It was there that he met a company of miniaturist artists who helped Renat getting additional skills.
After training in 1987, Renat worked in Moscow, then moved to Ufa. Until 2010, the master worked in his specialty, although already in the early 2000s, he was fond of making souvenirs and formed his style.
The magnets of the Ufa craftsman are also popular with collectors, including abroad. Renat still has many ideas that are at the sketching stage. The master shares his works on social media.
Now Renat wants to start using new materials and experiment with new technologies. However, according to the artist, the main thing is the uniqueness and originality of the product.
