"Heroes and Time": Ufa Art Gallery features exhibition of two authors

An exhibition "Heroes and Time" has opened in the Ufa Art Gallery. The unusual feature of the project is that the works of two authors, sculptures, and art photographs are combined in one hall. Rafail Zinurov presented 50 images of national heroes from different countries - Doctor of Law, Honored Lawyer RB, writer, sculptor, and member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation. The works were created by him for a quarter of a century, since 1996. His heroes - leaders, generals, leaders of uprisings, politicians, poets - plunge into the dramatic depths of the past, making one think about personality's role in history.

The photo artist, member of the Creative Union of Artists of the Russian Federation Nikolai Marachkin, collected portraits of people for the exposition, taken impromptu - on the street, at events. Citizens and villagers, children and adults, daring youth, and gray-haired elderly. A whole life with its large and simple events passes through the images of these people.

Both authors were awarded letters of thanks from the Ministry of Culture. Rail Asadullin, Chairman of the Committee on Culture, Science, Education, and Interethnic Relations of the State Assembly, congratulated the audience on the exhibition opening. He noted that many famous people, representatives of culture, science, and the public had gathered at the exhibition. After the congratulations and the opening of the new creative season of the Ufa Art Gallery, the authors themselves raised to speak.

The exhibition will run until October 4.
