Bashkiria residents began to attend cultural events more often

60 thousand tourists visited Ufa and Bashkiria during the sixth World Folkloriada. The government of the republic called it a key event in the field of culture. Also, the Cabinet of Ministers marked the first performance of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the P.I. Tchaikovsky Concert Hall of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic Society and the "Don Quixote" opera staged by Askar Abdrazakov and performed by artists of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater.

In just a year, residents of Bashkiria began to attend cultural events by 21% more than in 2020. Also, the number of visits to digital resources of the cultural sphere has increased by 28%.

"A number of significant events were held to institutionalize the sphere of interethnic relations. From the point of view of the national policy in the region, the most important was the meeting of the Council under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan on interethnic relations in April. The Council discussed the issues of organizing the all-Russian population census and the need to intensify interaction with national-cultural organizations, diasporas and the expert-scientific community on the state national policy", the regional government noted.
