Plays by Mustai Karim appeared on website of world scientific project for drama study

Within the framework of the international project DraCor, with the assistance of the Mustai Karim Foundation, the texts of two dramatic works of the writer have been placed in the public domain: "On the Night of a Lunar Eclipse" and "Don't Throw Fire, Prometheus."
DraCor is a joint project of research teams from Germany (University of Potsdam) and Russia (Higher School of Economics). It allows reading, comparing, and scientifically analyzing plays in different languages, including with the help of modern computer technology. Within the project framework, German, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Ancient Roman, Ancient Greek, and other dramatic collections are available.
Each play is presented in a special technical format TEI - Text Encoding Initiative, which allows a computer to process text correctly, represent a system of characters in the form of a network, calculate the speech density of characters in different actions, and reflect it on graphs.
An essential condition for the DraCor project is not to violate copyright.
Therefore, we can only find old texts on the resource belonging to authors whose works have passed into the public domain over the years.
Such, for example, is the situation with the Tatar drama corpus containing the plays of Galiasgar Kamal (1879-1933).
The personal permission of Alfia Mustaevna Karimova made it possible to see the texts of Mustai Karim on a par with William Shakespeare, Lope de Vega, Heinrich von Kleist, and Nikolai Ostrovsky. The scientific management of the collection of Bashkir plays is carried out by Boris Orekhov (Moscow). Marsel Ishimbaev (Ufa) took a significant part in preparing the texts for publication in the TEI format.
