VI World Folkloriada kicks off in Bashkortostan

The VI World Folkloriada CIOFF® starts marching across the republic. Already today, the folk teams will go to 4 festival districts. Spectacular concert programs will be held in 22 municipalities of the republic.

Today at 13.00 the festival will begin in the city of Salavat. Viewers will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of countries such as Austria, Bolivia, Slovakia, Greece, Mexico, Indonesia, Russia.

At 15.00, bands from Cameroon, Palestine, France, Belarus, North Macedonia, Peru, Ecuador, Romania will perform in the Mishkinsky region.

At the same time, the participants will be hosted by the Dyurtyulinsky district. The colorful program will be shown by creative teams from Azerbaijan, Croatia, India, Estonia, Chile, Paraguay, and Benin. Art groups from cities and regions will represent the republic at the creative forum. The audience will be able to see the performances of foreign guests in Ufa.

At 2.00 pm on the upper platform of the Toratau Congress Hall, creative ensembles from Poland, Panama, Italy will present a unique show. At 6.00 pm in the Congress Hall "Toratau" amphitheater, a concert program will show the creative groups of the Folkloriada: Bulgaria, Spain, Kazakhstan, Colombia.

The event's headliners will be the Orenburg State Academic Russian Folk Choir, Russian singer Tina Kuznetsova and folk project Zventa Sventana. Every day from 11.00 to 17.30 at the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the International Exhibition "Masks of the Nations of the World" and the International Photo Exhibition "Musical Instruments of the Nations of the World" will work. Admission is free, subject to the mask regime.
