Folkloriada participants baked Russian pancakes and cooked okroshka with Bashkir ayran

The 25-year old Oscar Ferrer came to Ufa for the Folkloriada from Colombia. He dreamed of getting to Russia for a long time, Oscar says. All the time he imagined that his songs would be performed exactly here.

“Double luck that the Folkloriada takes place in Ufa. Now I will definitely put your city on the list of the greenest and friendliest cities in the world. People are smiling on the streets!

In one of the restaurants in Ufa, Oskar was taught today how to cook Russian okroshka with the Bashkir ayran. A bit of a strange combination of ingredients, the young singer says, let's see what comes of it.

Giada Ciarandini is a dancer of the famous Italian folk group Chino Ermacora. It is also her first time in Russia.

“I live in a small provincial town in the north of Italy, and therefore everything seems big to me, Giada laughs.
