"Shulgan-Tash" museum complex will open in Bashkiria on Republic Day

Bashkiria will receive a new "Shulgan-Tash" museum complex on Republic Day. Such deadlines for the completion of construction were announced during the working trip of the Prime Minister of the Regional Government, Andrei Nazarov.

All interior works of the "Shulgan-Tash" historical and cultural complex next to the cave of the same name will be completed on August 1. The builders will completely leave the facility by September 1.

According to the head of the Bashkir Cabinet of Ministers, the museum complex will become a point of attraction for tourists and representatives of the scientific world.

The "Shulgan-Tash" historical and cultural complex will be located on 4 thousand square meters of premises. The exposition will be almost completely copied from the Shulgan-Tash Cave. In addition, conferences, meetings, and other events will also be held here. The complex provides for a scientific laboratory, which specialists will work on the evidence base for the emergence of the Shulgan-Tash Cave. According to various expert estimates, its rock paintings were put on the cave walls 14-19 thousand years ago.
