Mustai Karim Foundation donated books to Dagestan libraries

On May 25, in the Rasul Gamzatov Foundation conference hall, the books donated by the Mustai Karim Foundation were presented to the libraries of Makhachkala and Khasavyurt.

Representatives of the R. Gamzatov National Library of the Republic of Dagestan, the R. Gamzatov Khasavyurt Central City Library, the N. Yusupov Republican Children's Library, Makhachkala Central Children's Library No. 1 took part in the event under the leadership of the President of the Rasul Gamzatov Foundation Salikhat Gamzatova.

In her welcoming speech, Salikhat Gamzatova recalled that a joint event of the Mustai Karim Foundation and the Rasul Gamzatov Foundation took place on May holidays - screenings of the film "Little Sister" based on the story by Mustai Karim "The Joy of Our Home" were organized, which were very popular with the audience.

The following books by Mustai Karim have been handed over to the libraries: "The Joy of Our Home", "Dad Yalaletdin", "Taganok", "Pardon", "100 Poems", "Long, Long Childhood. Horse to the Dictator! Walking Mahmut".

Also, Salikhat Rasulovna noted that in March, the N. Yusupov Republican Children's Library together with colleagues from Bashkortostan - Model Children's Library No. 30 held a teleconference.

The National and Khasavyurt libraries also received the collected works of Mustai Karim in three volumes and the book "Mustai: An Interview That Never Happened".

Earlier, collections of books by Mustai Karim were also transferred to the libraries of Gunib, Tsad, Derbent, Kaspiysk, as well as the Poetry Theater in Makhachkala.
