Youth Symphony Orchestra of Bashkiria will perform "Moscow" cantata by Tchaikovsky

The Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan continues to perform works by outstanding composers, whose anniversary events were not held in 2020 due to the pandemic. In April, a concert of the Youth Symphony Orchestra RB of Ludwig van Beethoven compositions (dedicated to his 250th birthday) took place, and concerts dedicated to the 180th birthday of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky are held on May 17 and 21. The program includes the Fantasy Overture "Romeo and Juliet" and the Cantata "Moscow" (for soloists, chorus, and symphony orchestra). The "Moscow" cantata written on the occasion of the coronation of Alexander III to the lyrics of Apollo Maikov, will be performed for the first time in Ufa in the original version.

The next concert will take place on May 21 at 5.00 pm in the Chaliapin Concert Hall of Ufa State Institute of Arts (Lenin, 14). Free admission.

Soloists are laureates of International and All-Russian competitions, Elvira Minibayeva and Ilgam Siraev (class of Professor Yamil Abdulmanov). The choir of the Ufa State Institute of Arts (head - associate professor Alsu Khasbiullina) takes part in the concert.
