Republican Festival of Slavic culture "Slavs of 21st century" will be held in Ufa

A large-scale republican festival of Slavic culture "Slavs of the 21st century" will take place, dedicated to the Day of Slavic Written Language and Culture, on the Belaya River Embankment in Ufa, on May 23. The organizers invite residents of Ufa and guests of the city to take part in the celebrations.
At 5 pm, the Festival will begin its work with a large Slavic round dance of representatives of the Slavic peoples living in the territory of Bashkortostan.
Various zones will operate on the embankment. Guests of the holiday will be greeted by the exposition "Russian courtyard" with Slavic interiors from the Belokataysky region.
Craftsmen and masters of arts and crafts will take part in the Slavic fair. Everyone will be able to learn the basics of various handicrafts at creative masterclasses.
A poetry program and educational quizzes await the participants of the Festival in the literary zone.
Various outdoor activities are planned in the sports area.
A playground will be open for family recreation. An exciting program is planned for the little guests of the holiday.
Photo zones and catering services will work throughout the holiday.
On the central stage, from 5 pm to 11 pm, a large concert program will take place with the participation of creative teams of the republic, the group of Katya Yamshchikova, "Uzoritsa", Marat Taturas with the team "Happy People", and guests of the holiday - the St. Petersburg folk group "Otava Yo". The Festival will end with a festive fireworks display.
The project organizers are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Regional Public Organization "Cathedral of Russians of Bashkortostan", the Republican Center of Folk Art, and the House of Friendship of Peoples.
