Faizi Gaskarov Folk Dance Ensemble goes on tour to Caucasus
The Faizi Gaskarov State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble goes on tour to the North Caucasus region for the first time in the last ten years.
According to the team's press service, a large tour of the Russian cities takes place as part of the program "We are Russia" of the federal institution "ROSCONCERT".
The concerts are opened by the Bashkir classical dance from the golden fund of Faizi Gaskarov's heritage - Zarifa. The audience will also see the famous Seven Girls dance. Among the new productions of the ensemble is the choreographic composition Rus by Alexei Shishkin.
The Caucasian tour program will feature the premiere of the season - the Circassian dance "Adygskie Udzhi" staged by Aslan Khadzhaev, art director and chief choreographer of the State Folk Dance Ensemble of Adygea "Nalmes".
Faizi Gaskarov Folk Dance Ensemble will perform in the following cities:
April 22 - Volgograd, Officers' Club
April 24 - Astrakhan, Philharmonic Society
April 26 - Stavropol, Philharmonic Society
April 27 - Maykop, Philharmonic Society
April 28 - Pyatigorsk, City Community Center No. 1
April 29 - Grozny, Vainakh Concert Hall
April 30 - Makhachkala, M. Gorky Russian Drama Theater.
