Miras Ensemble goes to festival in United Arab Emirates

The Miras Song and Dance Ensemble will take part in the festival in the city of Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates from April 3 to 10. The 18th Heritage Days Festival will take place there these days. It is organized by the Heritage Institute under the patronage of Sultan III bin Muhammad al-Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Emir of Sharjah.
"Last year we were invited to this festival, we were already starting to prepare, but the trip was canceled due to the pandemic. The agreement remained, and this year the organizers of the festival invited us to take part. Their representatives took upon themselves all the costs: flights, accommodation, meals, and guaranteed compliance with all necessary safety measures related to the epidemiological situation in the world," Bairas Ishberdin, director of the Miras Ensemble, shared with the Bashinform News Agency.
More than ten countries participate in the festival: Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Montenegro, India, Spain, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Tajikistan, Republic of Yemen. The Miras Ensemble will represent Russia and the Republic of Bashkortostan and show Bashkir, Russian dances, and musical compositions at the United Arab Emirates. The soloists of the ensemble Yulai Kasimov and Zaliya Ganiatullina will also perform at the international event. Note that all CIOFF festivals' main condition is the performance of all shows to live music, so a dance group and an orchestra go with the ensemble.
Sharjah Heritage Days is an international event that takes place every spring in the old historic district of Sharjah and in many cities in the emirate.
