Film about athlete and blogger Rustam Nabiyev will be shot at Elbrus

A documentary film about the Ufa sportsman and blogger Rustam Nabiyev, who lost his legs when the barracks collapsed, will be filmed on Elbrus. The expedition is planned for this spring.

The film will be produced by the Moscow company "Doka" and supported by the A. Abdrazakov Bashkortostan film studio. According to the film's producer Larisa Oleinik the half-hour film is planned to be shot and edited this year.

Recall that in September 2020, Rustam Nabiev was the first in history to conquer Elbrus (6 220 m) only on his hands with the help of ice axes. He climbed the mountain for 15 hours, walked 13 km. Upon his return, Rustam Nabiev presented the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov with a stone from Elbrus's top.
