Mustai Karim's "The Taganok Squad" film hit Top-20 box office in Russia over weekend

"The Taganok Squad" film based on the story of the writer and playwright Mustai Karim, has been waiting for a big-screen premiere for two years. The film directed by Ainur Askarov won the love of viewers throughout Russia for four days of distribution. The film grossed its first box-office million rubles during the festive weekend, and more than seven thousand people watched it.

According to the federal information system of film screenings in cinemas, such popularity allowed the "The Taganok Squad" film to get into the top 20 distributions in the country.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the film by Ainur Askarov was released on March 4.
