Gaskarov Ensemble will perform in 50 cities of Russia as part of "Big Tour" program

The Faizi Gaskarov State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble has passed the application stage for participation in the federal program "Big Tour".

The Gaskarov Ensemble has planned many concerts in an extensive tour of the regions of Russia within the framework of this program for 2021. Thus Gaskarov dancers will give concerts in many cities of the Volga region, the North Caucasus region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the Republic of Crimea, St. Petersburg, Perm, Veliky Novgorod. Concerts are planned in more than 50 cities of Russia.

According to the press secretary of the ensemble Eliza Synbulatova, 78 ensembles from all over the country took part in the application campaign. The expert commission agreed on a list of only 26 national groups that will take part in the All-Russian tour and concert plan - "Big Tour" in 2021.

The Gaskarov Ensemble in 2020, even before the onset of the pandemic, managed to hold more than 10 concerts as part of the Big Tour program.

Under the auspices of the All-Russian Touring and Concert Plan of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Big Tour program enables people living in large and small cities of the country to get acquainted with the best examples of Russian and foreign art.
