"The Road of Ancient Eras" exhibition opened in Ufa

Today, the Republican Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Ancient Ufa" opened the exhibition "The Road of Ancient Eras".

Every year, specialists from the Ancient Ufa Museum-Reserve travel around the republic for archaeological exploration. During these works, they discover new archeological monuments, find interesting artifacts. Also, experienced archaeologists share their knowledge with young employees.

"The Road of Ancient Eras" exhibition mainly displays artifacts found during archaeological expeditions.

"Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the archaeological cultures of Bashkortostan of various historical eras, showing the wealth of its historical heritage. Today's exhibition covers the history from the Stone Age to the New Age, from the Trans-Urals to the west of Bashkortostan", Director of the Museum-Reserve "Ancient Ufa" Gaukhar Battalova marked.

Bashkortostan ranks first in the Volga Federal District in the number of artifacts. There are unique archaeological sites, such as the "Settlement Ufa-II", there are unique artifacts, and there is no specialized storage to store and display these treasures. This issue is on the agenda of the republican leadership.

After the event's ceremonial opening, Ivan Babin, an employee of the Ancient Ufa Museum-Reserve, conducted an interesting tour of the exhibition and answered questions from visitors.

The exhibition takes place at the address: Ufa, Lesotehnikum Street, 49, until March 31, 2021. Free admission.
