Museum of Polar Explorers exposition will cost 36 million rubles in Ufa

The creation of the Museum of Polar Explorers exposition in Ufa will cost 35.8 million rubles. The National Museum of Bashkiria announced an auction on the public procurement website.
The Valerian Albanov Museum of Polar Explorers will immortalize the legendary Arctic explorers' names, including the native of Ufa, Valerian Ivanovich Albanov, who became the prototype of navigator Klimov in the legendary book by Veniamin Kaverin "Two Captains".
The official opening is scheduled for May 26, 2021 - on Albanov's birthday.
The exposition is planned for an area of ​​319.7 square meters. According to the terms of reference, the division into zones is provided. For example, zone number 1 "The history of the development of the Arctic/Arctic - the world of strong people." Zone No. 2 "Three Captains and Arctic Expeditions of the Early 20th Century," will be dedicated to the scientific, literary, and artistic reproduction of the three expeditions. There are also zones "Cinema Hall - Transformer", "Coach Lounge (Children's Center)", "Lifepath of Valerian Albanov", "The search for "St. Anna" in our days ".
The electronic tender will be held on March 25, 2021. The work will have to be completed by May 20, 2021.
Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the museum would be located in Sverdlov Street, 88a - in the former building of the Soloviev brothers' estate. The Minister of Culture Amina Shafikova said that it was decided to place the museum closer to the Nesterov Museum to be convenient for the tourist flow.
