Ecological and ethnic festival "Winter Games of Ural Batyr" will be held for fifth time in Bashkiria

The Bashkir Ecological and Ethnographic Complex "Bashhyrt" will host a "Winter Games of the Ural Batyr" festival. The event will take place in the reserve's central estate (Sargaya village) on February 27.

This year the holiday is being held for the fifth time. Every year the event becomes more popular, the geography and the number of participants are growing.

As the holiday organizers inform, the program will be rich: the Ylak competitions, horse races, a competition for reciters of the "Ural-Batyr" epic, a tournament of archers from a traditional bow are planned.

The prize fund has increased this year, so the winners of all competitions will receive good gifts. Besides, this year, for the first time at the Ylak competition, the winning team will be awarded the Challenge Cup.

Equestrian races this year attracted participants from other regions; among them, there are many experienced riders.

The traditional archery tournament, which is held annually at the Ural-Batyr festival, always attracts a large number of not only participants but also spectators.
