Film about Bronze Age in South Urals was shot in Bashkiria

The Archaeological Society of the Republic of Bashkortostan has released the second film from the series "Archeostan. Archeology of Bashkortostan". This project, supported by the Presidential Grants Fund, aims to popularize the cultural heritage of the republic and archaeological science.
The second episode tells about the beginning of the copper metallurgy development by the South Urals' ancient societies. The interested viewer will learn about the archaeological monuments of the most ancient metallurgists who lived in the territory of modern Bashkortostan, about the most interesting monuments of the Sintashta-Arkaim circle located in the Bashkir Trans-Urals, about cult objects such as the Akhunovsky megalithic complex.
"The Age of Bronze in the South Urals. Beginning of the Metal Era" Film following the first issue dedicated to the stone era, continues the story about the ancient history of the region and gives an idea of ​​the specificity of the cultures and peoples inhabiting it in the III-II millennium BC, as well as the connections of the South Urals with other regions of Eurasia.
The "Archeostan. Archeology of Bashkortostan" project implemented by the Archaeological Society of the Republic of Bashkortostan this year received support from the Presidential Grants Fund. Within the framework of the cycle, it is planned to release 5 episodes, each of which is dedicated to a specific cultural and historical era: the Stone Age, the Paleometal Age, the Early Iron Age, the Early Middle Ages, the Late Middle Ages and the New Time.
