3rd Historical Festival "Ancient Ufa" was held in Ufa

The annual 3rd Historical Festival of Medieval Crafts and Historical Reconstructions "Ancient Ufa" was held in Ufa at the "Russia is my History" multimedia park.

"Today's festival is a landmark event for Ufa. After the construction of the archaeological park "Ancient Ufa" on the territory of the monument "Settlement Ufa-II", guests and residents of Ufa can enjoy the walk in the historical part of the city, which originates from the early Middle Ages", the head of the Department for State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Republic of Bashkortostan Oleg Polstovalov said.

The exhibition, organized by the Museum-Reserve "Ancient Ufa", mainly from the artifacts found at the site of the Middle Ages "Settlement Ufa-II", always aroused great interest. The visitors were interested in questions related to the history and age of Ufa. Recently, the Museum-Reserve will present another monograph on the results of excavations at the unique settlement.

On this day, the historical park also gathered the masters of the republic in various crafts types. Among them are potters, blacksmiths, jewelers, artists, specialists in the manufacture of leather and wood products, masters of national costumes. Visitors took part in the masterclasses with pleasure.
