Gaskarov Ensemble will present video premiere of "Severnye Amury" on Heroes Day

Today, December 9, on the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland, the Faizi Gaskarov Folk Dance Ensemble will present the premiere of a video for the dance "Severnye Amury". The Gaskarov dancers devote this day to the descendants of Salavat Yulaev and the soldiers of the Patriotic War of 1812, nicknamed the "Severnye Amury" (Northern Cupids).

The heroic-romantic suite "Severnye Amury" was staged by the outstanding choreographer and founder of the ensemble Faizi Gaskarov in 1955. The video was shot by the director of photography Eduard Dilmukhametov in the Small Hall of the Gafuri Bashkir Drama Theater.

The video will appear on the ensemble's youtube channel at 21.00.

On December 5, on the Day of Military Glory, the Faizi Gaskarov Folk Dance Ensemble began a video marathon dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory. Within the framework of the project, the Gascarov company has already released two videos for the dances: "Soldier's Dance" by Marat Karimov and "Kyr Khagary" ("Wild Geese") by Faya Gareeva.

The video for the "Kyr Khagary" dance received a great response from the audience on social media. The audience noted the beauty of the dance, the plot, understandable and familiar to everyone, and the performers' skills.
