International A. Frank Competition Grand Prix was awarded to pianist from Croatia

Ufa hosted the 2nd International Alexander Frank Piano Competition as part of the Creative People project of the "Culture" national project. The competition, which was held in a remote format using video recordings, was attended by cultural-educational institutions from different cities of Russia and countries. The creative competition was held among soloists and ensembles in the nominations "Piano" and "Chamber Ensemble" in four age groups.

According to the competition results, the Grand Prix of the competition was awarded to Arsen Dalibaltayan from the Music Academy of Zagreb (Croatia).

Eva Minniakhmetova (Secondary Special Music College, Ufa, class of teacher L.F. Karimova), Rosalia Nasirova (Republican College of Music, Izhevsk, class of teacher Bokova O.V.), Daria Kravtsova ( N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Music College, class of teacher A.F. Zueva) became 1st award winners in the "Piano" nomination.

Pavel Dombrovsky and Rustem Khamidullin from Switzerland won the nomination "Chamber Ensemble".

The jury included authoritative pianists of the Russian Federation under the People's Artist of Russia's chairmanship, Head of the Department of Special Piano of the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, Professor of the Department of Special Piano of the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory Vladimir Ovchinnikov.

A total of 58 applications were submitted from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Magnitogorsk, Samara, Saratov, Kurgan, Orenburg, Ufa, Izhevsk, Almetyevsk, as well as from China, Croatia, and Switzerland. The participants represented educational institutions of all levels of music education.

Alexander Davidovich Frank (1919 -1994) - pianist, teacher, professor. Graduated from the Moscow Conservatory, worked at the Ufa Institute of Arts from 1969 to 1992.
