Republican festival-competition "Bashkir Shawl - 2020" invites masters to participate

The 13th Republican Festival-Competition "Bashkir Shawl - 2020" will be held in Bashkortostan from December 7 to 11. Сraftsmen of the Bashkir down shawl from all over the republic are invited to participate in the event.

On December 7-8, the republican jury will sum up the competition results based on the creative items submitted to the competition.

From December 9 to 10, online masterclasses on shawls will be held on the topic: "How to choose a good downy shawl", "Favorite patterns of the Bashkir shawl masters", "Woven Bashkir shawl".

The festival-competition will end on December 11 with a round table on the topic "Results of the 13th Republican Festival-Competition "Bashkir Shawl - 2020" and the development of down-knitting craft".

Applications and items for the competition are accepted until December 4, 2020, at the Ural Folk Art Gallery of the RCNT at Ufa, st. Lenin, 56.
