Ufa "Miras" Ensemble performances will be shown on TV in Colombia

The "Miras" folklore song and dance ensemble continues to take part in international festivals. Thus, from November 12 to 14, the ensemble will perform at the 18th International Festival, which will be held in the city of Santiago de Cali in Colombia. This year, due to the pandemic, it will be held online.

The "Miras" Ensemble will present vocal and choreographic compositions "Yyuasa" and "Ilkeyem". The performances of the festival participants will be broadcast on the local public television Telepacífico of the city of Santiago de Cali, as well as on the official Facebook and Instagram pages of the People's Institute of Culture. Viewers will be able to see concert performances of dance and music groups from Colombia, Argentina, Congo, Indonesia, and Russia.

Every year the "Miras" Ensemble takes part in folklore festivals. The creativity of the team is familiar to the audience of Russia and the world. The ensemble has performed in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, and Hungary.

The festival organizers are the Columbia Institute of Culture and the School of Colombian Folklore and Dance. The event is supported by the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts (CIOFF).
