Radiy Khabirov: "All major cultural events before December 1 should be canceled"

“Practically all events before December 1 must be canceled or carried out technically, with the participation of a small number of people with strict adherence to norms and rules,” said the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, at a briefing session today, commenting on the report of the Ministry of Culture of the republic.

The Acting Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Natalya Lapshina said that the seats were filled strictly by half in all theatrical and concert halls; the spectators sit in a chess-like arrangement and are allowed into the hall only in masks.

In libraries and museums at the same time, there are no more than 50 people, visiting events and tours at theaters and concert organizations have been partially canceled. The patients are monitored daily.

The Ministry of Culture came up with a proposal to reduce the occupancy of halls to 30 percent, cancel all group classes, halve the number of street events, work mostly online and conduct only the most significant and necessary events.
