Zukhra Burakayeva is invited to International Film Festival jury in Kazakhstan

The famous Bashkir screenwriter and writer Zukhra Burakayeva was invited to the jury of the national competition of the 5th International Short Film Festival "Baiqonyr". All the participants of the festival hoped to meet on the hospitable Kazakh land, in the city of Almaty. The festival was postponed by dates, but now it became known that the jury had decided to work online.

"Now we have been sent all the films of the participants of the competition," Zukhra Burakayeva told the Bashinform News Agency. "On October 10, an online meeting of all members of the jury, a discussion will take place, and on October 11, the winners in all nominations will be announced. "

BAIQONYR International Short Film Festival is a unique cultural event that has no analogs in Kazakhstan. Baiqonyr SFF is an introduction to the works of young filmmakers of our country. The festival is intended to become a launching pad for the creative take-off of festival participants and the discovery of new names in the Kazakhstani cinema. The goal of the festival is to popularize new short films among Kazakhstanis.
